BARBECUE CHICKEN

Ingredients:
6 leg thigh quarters
1 medium yellow onion
3 limes
1/4 c lime juice
2 tbs BUBBA’S ALL SEASON RUB, FLAMIN’ 8 or chicken rub
2 c BBQ sauce
olive oil
Instructions:
Slice onion and limes. Coat the chicken with olive oil and lime juice. Rub in Bubba’s Rub. Put the chicken in a large zip top plastic bag. Add the sliced onion and lime. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes but overnight is best.
Start the grill on high and sear the outside of the chicken. Turn the heat to low and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Make sure the temperature is 225 – 250° F. Use indirect heat if your grill allows it.
